My fan light started turning on at odd times after I tried turning it on without my glasses and punched a bunch of buttons on the remote. I tried turning off the breaker while the light was on. When I turned it back on both the light and the fan came on.
What worked was turning the light off and then turning the breaker off for a few hours. It has been two days and I’ve had no problems.
