Okay, I’m sure this is not the right place to post a problem, but I’ve been trying to navigate the forum with about as much success as I’m having getting my remote to work.
My Harbor Breeze ceiling fan with light always worked perfectly. Now, all of a sudden, the remote will turn the fan on and off, but not the light. I had to sleep with the light on all night last night because it’s too hot to sleep without the fan.
I’ve looked at pages and pages of ‘help’ videos, texts, pictures, and messages, and they all show a remote with multiple tiny switches inside. My remote does not have this, so the ‘help’ is all useless.
Can anybody, anywhere in the universe please help me?
Hi there,
Can you please provide more details
– What model of ceiling fan do you have
– What remote do you have
– Please provide your name and what state you live in so we can determine if we are able to provide you a solution based on your locale.
It’s difficult to help you with no details about the model of fan or remote that you have, keep this in mind.
Thanks,
Admin
The fan, according to the instructions, is item #0599849, 0599656, 0599848 crosswinds II Ceiling Fan model #40821, 40823, 40822. The remote came with it and the instructions don’t give it a model number, so I’m not sure how to tell you which one it is. On the back it says FCC ID: A25-TX005R, if that’s any help.
Well, thanks for all the help. Nice to know how well you stand behind your product, ready to help a customer (that was sarcasm, in case you couldn’t tell). We took down the whole works and threw it in the dumpster.
